This lesson is way off the usual subjects I post about - but it is too critical to overlook.
Remember that old TV line from the police dramas about "anything you say can and will be used against you"? That may not be the exact text, but by golly, it's certainly the essence. Innocent? Doesn't matter, really. Based on what I learned from this presentation, ANYTHING you say can be misconstrued, taken out of context, or flat out misrepresented to get you convicted of something you may not even have known was a crime.
I strongly suggest watching this law professor and policeman explain why, no matter how innocent you are, talking to the police is never, ever in your best interest.
